Morphometrics is a field concerned with the variations and changes in the forms (size and shape) of the objects or organisms. There are various methods used in the analysis of shapes. These methods are traditional methods like length-angle measurement and analysis, and geometric morphometric methods including statistical shape analysis methods which are based on landmarks.
